One week after a huge fire destroyed a Lawrence neighborhood, police arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the case.

He is scheduled for arraignment Monday.

The man will be arraigned on charges he tried to set fire to a 20-unit apartment building.

Investigators said they found William Rodriguez at 71 Newbury St. Sunday, using phonebooks to set fires.

Firefighters were able to douse the flames.

Rodriguez is facing several charges, including arson and assaulting a police officer.
