BOSTON -- The United States Postal Service is offering a hefty reward for any information that will help them find the person who robbed a postal truck in December.The USPS said the truck driver was robbed at gunpoint at the Roxbury post office about 7 p.m. on Dec. 20.A $50,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can help postal officials arrest the robber who was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, weighing 220 pounds and wearing a hood at the time of the robbery.He could face a number of charges, including kidnapping. If convicted, the robber could face a sentence of up to life in prison.He could also face state and federal charges as result of hijacking a U.S. Postal Service vehicle and kidnapping the driver, a Postal Service employee.Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at the toll free number 1-877-876-2455 or 1-877-USMAIL5.
