An arson investigation is in full-swing Monday following a fire in Weymouth that is being described as very suspicious.

The flames started Sunday night inside the house on Worster Terrace.

Three firefighters were sent to area hospitals for injuries ranging from a separated shoulder to chest pain.

With the fire out, the focus now turns to the investigation.

The fire chief said the house was just days away from foreclosure.

Another issue that surfaced: the fire chief said his staff was stretched thin because of recent budget cuts.

Firefighters from Quincy and Braintree were called in to help put out the fire.
