Snow Emergency: Parking Bans
The following cities and towns have informed WCVB-TV that they have issued parking bans or snow emergencies:Arlington: 6 p.m. Attleboro 2 p.m.
Belmont: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Beverly: 11 a.m. Boston: Thursday, 2 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday. During declared snow emergencies, discounted parking is available at several parking lots and garages to cars that display Boston resident parking stickers. A list of locations is available at www.cityofboston.gov/snow. Braintree: Thursday 12 noon until Friday, Dec. 14, 6 p.m. Brookline: 4 p.m. Cambridge: 7 p.m Dartmouth: 12 p.m. Everett: 4 p.m. Fall River: Thursday, 12 p.m. noon. Cars can be parked at Flint Municipal Parking Lot on Cash St., Municipal Parking Lot at Columbia St., and Hunter St. Park Drive at Kennedy Park Framingham: 2 p.m. Gloucester: 9 p.m. Lynn: 6 p.m. Lynnfield: Thursday 2 p.m. Malden: 5 p.m. Medford: 4 p.m. Newburyport: Noon Newton: Noon Revere: Thursday, 1 p.m. Cars parked on Emergency Arteries after 1 p.m. will be towed. Salem: Thursday, noon. Saugus: 4 p.m. (until noon Friday) Somerville: Thursday, 10 a.m. Parking is allowed on the odd-numbered side of the street only (unless otherwise posted). Cars not moved by 2 p.m. Thursday will be subject to ticketing and towing. Residents unable to find a parking space on the odd-numbered side of the street may park in any municipal or school parking lot for the duration of the emergency.
