CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Key evidence against a man accused of killing his estranged wife came from the couple’s 3-year-old son, the Boston Herald reported Saturday.Photos: "Daddy Killed Mommy"Gavin Mcgee, 3, told police that his father stabbed his mother to death.“Daddy killed Mommy,” Gavin McGee said in court documents. “There was a lot of blood - blood everywhere.”Jeffrey McGee, 36, pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder during an arraignment from his hospital bed in Methuen Friday.Middlesex District Gerry Leone alleged that McGee killed Christine McGee, 31, in his Chelmsford apartment Tuesday by puncturing her jugular vein, while the young boy was there.McGee then put his son in his Toyota Corolla and intentionally drove into an oncoming truck, police said. “This was no accident,” McGee allegedly said, referring to the crash. “I did it on purpose.”Chelmsford police found the victim, who had recently separated from her husband, dead in his apartment with “obvious puncture wounds to her face and neck.”Young Gavin told police, “Dad made Mommy dead. Daddy made her all blood, blood on the couch,” according to court papers.After the crash, doctors found five self-inflicted stab wounds on Jeffrey McGee’s body, according to court records.He will return to court next month for a probable cause hearing.
