There are many home improvements one can make to make their home more efficient, among them:Caulk and weather strip windows and exterior doors to block drafts; Install window treatments or coverings; Insulate your water heater and pipes; Cut down on hot water usage and lower your thermostat; Open drapes during the day to capture heat of the sun and close them at night; Unplug appliances and turn off lights when not in use.
