Man Dies While Swimming First Leg Of Competition

Authorities have not yet released the name of a man who died while competing in a triathlon in Cohasset over the weekend.

The man -- said to be in his 30s -- died while swimming in the first leg of Sunday's endurance competition.

The town's fire department said six other people were treated for injuries sustained during the triathlon.

Three of them were taken in advance life support ambulances to South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth for further treatment.

None of the injured were identified.

More than 700 people registered for the endurance race.
