A soldier from Milton has died in Iraq, the Department of Defense announced Monday.

Staff Sgt. Robb L. Rolfing, 29, died Sunday in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered from enemy small arms fire.

Rolfing was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), based in Fort Carson, Colo.
