Friends of a missing North Shore college student are holding posters at train stations and posting messages on the Internet in hopes of finding a woman missing since Tuesday.

Starsha Tupper, 19, was last seen after she attended a financial aid meeting at North Shore Community College in Lynn where she is a student.

She told friends she was planning to take a train home to Gloucester, where she lives with her grandmother.

"I am numb and shocked," Rachel Sawyer told NewsCenter 5's Lynn Jolicoeur about Tupper's disappearance.

Friends said Tupper had talked about a new boyfriend, but they had not met him

Tupper's ATM card was used to make small cash withdrawals on Wednesday and Friday, police said.

They are hoping to use surveillance video to determine if Tupper made the withdrawals and if she was alone.
