Police Say He Confessed

BOSTON -- An East Boston man is under arrest and facing charges in a bizarre incident where a burning cat was thrown at a building.Luigi Epifania, 23, was arrested Friday night and "confessed to the crime," according to a statement issued by Boston police.Police responded to call for a burning dead cat at 204 Princeton St. in East Boston on Wednesday. Witnesses told police that they saw a man approach the house and throw what appeared to be a burning object at the building.Epifania is charged with the malicious killing of a domestic animal and arson. The police statement offered no explanation for the crime.
