A Medford, Mass., woman was brutally attacked Friday night and her attacker's photo was caught on a security camera.

Now, Medford Police are hoping someone will recognize the man involved.

NewsCenter 5's Gail Huff reported that police were looking for a heavy-set man in his early 20s who is no taller than 5 feet 10 inches tall.

A surveillance photo taken near the bus stop where the woman was attacked about 10:30 p.m. Friday was what police were working with to develop a description.

A 24-year-old woman told police the man attacked her at knifepoint when she got off the bus at Winthrop Stree and Boston Avenue. She said he forced her into a driveway and assaulted her once, then forced her into his vehicle and assaulted her a second time.

She said the man was driving a small red sport utility vehicle. She said he drove around the neighborhood before leaving her on the side of the road.

Medford police want help identifying the man and ask that anyone with information call them at 781-391-6767.
