A Holliston High School senior was killed Friday in a car crash in Ashland, Mass.

Officials said Cori Sheahan was traveling south on Chestnut Street at 6:40 a.m. when he swerved out of his lane and hit an on-coming Framingham Fire Department pickup truck that was traveling north.

"It's not an emergency vehicle. It's a fire truck that takes care of the street lights and the fire boxes," Ashland Fire Department Lt. David Iarussi said.

Sheahan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, Wayne Bolduc, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
