A Fallon wheelchair coach driver was shot in Jamaica Plain Monday afternoon.

Officials said that the shooting happened near Centre and Chestnut streets. The man had just dropped off a patient when the shooting took place. He was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital.

The wheelchair coach service is for patients who are wheelchair bound and those requiring moderate medical supervision, according to Fallon's Web site.
