HAMPDEN, Mass. -- An explosion sent two Hampden boys to the hospital Tuesday.

Police said four boys were attempting to make a homemade bomb using instructions they got from the video Web site "You Tube."

The device went off as they were constructing it.

Two of the four were taken to Baystate Medical Center where they were treated in the intensive care unit.

Police did not release names or ages.
