Victim Struck By A Dump Truck

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- A 10-year-old girl riding her bicycle was struck and killed by a dump truck in Foxborough. The accident happened near the girl's home on Willow Street, near the Sharon line.

The truck driver told police he swerved out of the way when the girl came toward him, but the girl turned into his path. Neighbors said the victim was a fourth-grader at Burrell Elementary School.

No charges have been filed.
