Statement From Triplet.com

Our membership includes a contact number that is attached to their medical questionnaire for verification.

This would be the highest level of participation. On the other side of the forum it would basically remain the same -- open registration -- and unverified users. Obviously the unverified side would be easily accessed by the lurkers and fakers.

The verified side would be a higher quality forum. FYI our membership now contains over 60,000 families that have been affiliated with the Triplet Connection since our inception in 1983.

Current forum "registrations" are over 7350 and the forum page is viewed over 1M times each week.

Statement 2

The change we are currently considering is a division of the current forum board with dues paying members of the Triplet Connection on one side and non dues paying members on the other.

While we recognize the value of the forum to all HOM families, credibility issues such as those with Mandie Clark and others through the years have affected the overall quality of the board.

With the division, we have a reliable way of verification of forum board users. Our membership includes the largest gathering of medical research of HOM pregnancies and births in the world and to have "fakers" posting on the board puts our database and all our network information at risk.

This change is still in the works and I expect it to be in place after the first of the year.
