Mother, Child Struck By Car
Police Say Pair Suffered Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

BOSTON -- A woman and her child were struck by a car in East Boston on Thursday.Police said that they were walking across Meridian Street when they were hit.Both mother and child were rushed to an area hospital, but their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.Police were talking to the driver who remained at the scene.
