A former student who allegedly walked into a Holbrook elementary school last week dressed in fatigues, making strange claims was arrested Wednesday.

NewsCenter 5's Jim Boyd reported that Troy Guppy, 18, was charged in Quincy District Court with disrupting a school assembly. Police said that he entered the South School on Friday. Officials said his behavior was bizarre.

"Mr. Guppy proceeded to four different classrooms where he stated that he was a five star general. He began talking of a supposed experience in the military. He claimed that he was shot, stabbed," prosecutor Mike Bradley said.

Eventually, Guppy was ushered out of the school. Parents who heard about the incident were upset.

"How did this person first get pass security, get into the classroom and start talking this nonsense in the class?" parent Paul Duffey said.

"The classroom teacher had a conversation with this individual several weeks ago. It was fairly informal. It was casual. They both knew each other, and I think it was one of those nondescript types of invitations of 'Sure -- nice to see you. Come by and visit me sometime.' From my perspective -- was the person invited for that specific date, time and special event? I don't think so," Holbrook School Superintendent Susan Martin said.

Guppy has never been in the military. He was released on his own personal recognizance. He was told not to return to the school.
