Utah Jazz (2-4) At New York Knicks (1-6), 7:30 P.M.

(Sports Network) - A pair of struggling teams tangle Monday in Madison Square Garden when the Utah Jazz open a four-game road trip against the New York Knicks.

The Jazz fell to 2-4 on the season Saturday after a surprising home loss to the Sacramento Kings. Rookie guard Tyreke Evans scored a career-high 32 points and doled out seven assists in that one to lead the Kings in a 104-99 victory over Utah.

Deron Williams totaled 29 points and 15 helpers for the Jazz, who have dropped three of four. Carlos Boozer boasted 16 points and 17 rebounds, while Mehmet Okur also had 16 points. Wesley Matthews and Andrei Kirilenko scored 11 and 10, respectively.

Utah was an impressive 33-8 at home last season while the Kings compiled the worst record in all of basketball but Sacramento used a 30-13 third quarter as fuel for the win.

"It was a bad game for us, period," said Williams. "We had a 15-point lead in the second quarter and then just let it slip away. Then the third quarter was even worse."

The Jazz, who are 0-2 on the road this season, will also face Eastern Conference heavyweights Boston and Cleveland as well as Philadelphia on their trip.

The Knicks, meanwhile, dropped to a miserable 1-6 on Saturday in Milwaukee when Andrew Bogut scored 22 points, grabbed eight rebounds and doled out four assists to lead the Bucks in a 102-87 rout of New York.

David Lee ended up with 18 points, seven boards and four assists for the Knicks, who lost their third in a row. Toney Douglas totaled 16 points and Danilo Gallinari 15 in defeat. Larry Hughes finished with 14 points.

"Everybody in this locker room wants to win right now," said Lee. "Everybody is moving in the same direction, I just think for whatever reason, things are not coming together and it is very evident on the floor."

The Jazz have dropped five straight visits to MSG and haven't won since a since a 92-78 triumph on Feb. 20, 2004.
