Golden State Warriors (4-8) At Dallas Mavericks (10-3), 8:30 P.M.

(Sports Network) - The Southwest Division-leading Dallas Mavericks hope to lasso their sixth consecutive victory tonight, when they conclude a three- game homestand versus the Golden State Warriors at American Airlines Center.

Dallas has recorded five wins in a row and improved to 2-0 on the residency with a 104-102 triumph versus the Sacramento Kings on Friday. Jason Terry scored 20 points off the bench and Kris Humphries added 15 as a reserve for the Mavs, who improved to 5-1 as the host this season.

"Our team is a veteran ball club, so you can expect down the stretch in the fourth quarter we're going to execute and we're going to get people the ball that need to have it," Terry said on the team's site. "It was another gritty win for us and we'll take it."

Dirk Nowitzki registered 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds, while Jason Kidd dished out 11 assists to go along 15 points in a winning effort. Dallas forward Shawn Marion (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game and has missed back-to-back contests. He is averaging 12.6 points this season.

Meanwhile, the Warriors had lost three in a row -- all on the road -- before handing the Portland Trail Blazers a 108-94 home defeat on Friday in Oakland.

Monta Ellis played all 48 minutes and ended with 34 points, eight assists and six steals for Golden State, which will open a brief tour through Texas with Dallas and San Antonio on the upcoming slate.

"The ball movement was good, open court was good and we just played off the hot hand of Monta," Warriors head coach Don Nelson said. "And I think he had a bigger impact on the defensive end."

Anthony Morrow and Anthony Randolph had 23 and 15 points, respectively, for the Warriors. Randolph also grabbed 11 rebounds. Golden State forward Corey Maggette, who notched 13 points against Portland, is probable for Tuesday because of a sore left hamstring.

Dallas went 2-1 against Golden State a year ago and has won five of the past seven matchups in the series. The Warriors are winless in their last four trips to Dallas and have lost 16 of the previous 20 matchups at the Mavs.
