Phoenix Suns (6-1) At Philadelphia 76ers (3-3), 7 P.M.

(Sports Network) - A red-hot Phoenix club hopes to finish a successful road trip in winning fashion Monday when it faces off with the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.

The Suns improved to 3-1 on their trek in the nation's capital on Sunday when Jason Richardson finished with a game-high 22 points and Channing Frye added 18 to go along with 10 rebounds, as Phoenix claimed a 102-90 win over the Washington Wizards.

Amare Stoudemire went for 17 points and 12 boards, while Grant Hill donated 13 points and as many rebounds for Phoenix, which was coming off a 110-103 win at Boston on Friday and is now 4-1 overall as the visitor this year. The Suns have won six of seven to start the season.

Steve Nash dished out a game-best 17 assists in addition to registering 11 points.

"This is the type of team that I think has to be humble," Nash said. "The minute we start to say we are a certain caliber of team I think there is a danger there, so we just have to keep being humble and keep treating this like a project that's going to take the whole season and keep improving."

The Sixers, meanwhile, fell in the Motor City on Sunday when Ben Gordon had 23 points and knocked down a trio of three-pointers, as the Pistons defeated Philadelphia, 88-81.

Andre Iguodala finished with 24 points, six boards, four assists and as many steals for the Sixers, who came in winners in three of four but were dominated on the backboards giving up 21 offensive rebounds.

Marreese Speights checked in with 15 points and six rebounds while Willie Green had 13 points in the loss.

"I don't care who they're missing, you're on the road in an NBA game -- you have to do everything right if they're playing at a high level. We just were short one ingredient and that was rebounding," remarked Sixers coach Eddie Jordan.

Phoenix has lost in two of its past three trips to Philadelphia, including a 108-91 setback last season.
