San Antonio, TX -- (Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs picked up the option for the 2010-11 season on the contract of guard George Hill on Wednesday.

In his rookie campaign last year, the 23-year-old Indianapolis native posted averages of 5.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest. Hill started seven games a season ago for the injured Tony Parker and put together 9.7 points, 3.4 assists and 3.3 boards per game in that stretch.
