Orlando, FL -- (Sports Network) - Hedo Turkoglu scored a season-high 31 points as Orlando routed Philadelphia, 115-99, at Amway Arena.
Turkoglu finished 7-of-11 from three-point range for the Magic, who outscored the Sixers 45-9 from beyond-the-arc and have won three of four games. Dwight Howard added 24 points, pulled down 18 rebounds and swatted three shots, while Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson both chipped in with 17 points.
"Tonight, I have to give credit to my teammates," Turkoglu said. "They found me and drive and kick. We're an unselfish team. We had 15, 17 threes, everyone was finding the open guy. If you're wide open, you just have to do your job and just knock down shots. Tonight, it was my night."
Andre Miller and Andre Iguodala each finished with 25 points for the Sixers, who have dropped two of three. Willie Green netted 21 points and Lou Williams added 18 off the bench.
"We have to do a better job (defensively)," Sixers head coach Maurice Cheeks said. They beat us too often off the dribble and that gave them good looks at the three."
The Sixers entered the fourth quarter trailing by 10 points but chipped away by making their first five shots in the stanza. Iguodala came up with a steal on the defensive end and a subsequent slam on the fastbreak to draw Philadelphia within six, 82-76, with nine minutes to go.
Maurice Evans restored order with a layup and Turkoglu followed with his fourth thee-pointer of the game to extend the Magic's lead to 87-76 with 7:07 left to play.
Less than a minute later, Lewis buried another triple and then converted a conventional three-point play, with 5:54 remaining, to essentially secure things for Orlando, 95-80.
"They hit some shots. It was a good game," Miller said. "We fought back and got it down to six. They hit some threes and that was pretty much the ball game. I thought we played hard but when you have guys hitting shots from all different parts of the court, they are hard to guard."
Howard dominated the opening quarter with nine points on 4-of-5 shooting and seven rebounds as the Magic raced out to a 26-16 lead.
Orlando extended its advantage in the second quarter thanks to the long ball. The Magic buried five threes in the frame and took a 53-40 edge into the locker room.
Orlando continued to play frontrunner through the third quarter and took a double-digit cushion, 76-66, into the final frame.
