New York Knicks (14-28) At Golden State Warriors (26-18), 9 P.m.

(Sports Network) - The New York Knicks begin a five-game stretch along the West Coast with tonight's encounter with the Golden State Warriors at ORACLE Arena.

New York enters the trek playing some of its best basketball of the season. The Knicks have won five of their last seven games after a woeful 9-26 beginning to the campaign and are coming off Friday's 89-81 home decision over rival Philadelphia.

Jamal Crawford paced New York with 18 points and five assists, while Zach Randolph amassed 16 points and 15 rebounds as the Knicks stopped a string of four straight losses to the 76ers.

New York's recent resurgence has come without the services of Stephon Marbury. The controversial point guard has missed the team's last seven outings and is sidelined indefinitely after undergoing surgery last week to remove bone spurs from his left ankle.

Fred Jones, who has taken over Marbury's role at point guard, sat out Friday's matchup with flu-like symptoms but is hopeful to return tonight.

The Warriors will be shooting for a sweep of the New York area clubs after rallying for a 121-119 victory over the slumping New Jersey Nets on Thursday. Monta Ellis poured in a career-high 39 points and Baron Davis recorded his second triple-double off the season for Golden State, which has won six of its last eight overall.

Davis finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in the triumph, while Al Harrington contributed 19 points off the bench for the Warriors.

Golden State overcame a nine-point deficit with a 22-0 run in the fourth quarter, but the Nets countered with a 20-4 spurt to take a 114-111 lead with 1:23 left to play. The Warriors then scored the next six points to move back in front and held New Jersey off the rest of the way.

The Warriors have won 12 of their last 16 games at ORACLE Arena after an 0-4 start at home to begin this season. Golden State has also defeated the Knicks five straight times as the host, with New York's last victory in Oakland coming on November 20, 2001.

Golden State has also taken five of the last six overall meetings against the Knicks, including a 108-82 rout at Madison Square Garden back in November.

New York has earned victories in three of its last four road tests, but is still just 4-14 away from home on the year.
