We've all heard the term commitment-phobic, which usually applies to men. Now a new study suggests gender roles may be reversing.

The dating service "It's Just Lunch" asked 5,000 singles about what goes through their head on a first date. The results were surprising.

Forty-seven percent of men were thinking "Could we have a relationship together?" Fifty percent of women had the less commitment-centric answer of "Do I want to see him again?"

Another area where women and men are becoming more alike is how fast they decide on a second date.

In 2004, 70 percent of men took 15 minutes or less to decide. Sixty-four percent of women took an hour or more.

In 2011, 60 percent of men and 55 percent of women said they take 20 minutes or less to decide on a second round.

The survey authors say those results aren't surprising in today's society where technology makes us impatient and expectant of instant gratification.
