Driver Killed In I-95 Crash

Police Looking For Red Car That Fled Scene

One person was killed in a single-car crash on Interstate 95 in Attleborough on Thursday, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The male driver of a 1996 Ford Contour was killed Thursday when the car struck a guardrail at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday near exit 3 on I-95 northbound, police said. A young male passenger was also injured in the crash, police said.

Police said they were looking for a red car that may have been involved in the crash but left the scene.

The names of the driver and passenger have not been released.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call State Police at 508-543-8550.
