N.H. Named 'Most Livable' State

Mass. Moves Up In Ranking

For the second year in a row, New Hampshire has been named the most livable state in the country.

The ranking comes from Morgan Quitno Press

The group said New Hampshire's low unemployment, crime and well-educated population made it tops.

Following New Hampshire, Minnesota and Vermont rounded out the top three.

Massachusetts was ranked seventh, up from 16th the previous year.

Coming in 50th? Mississippi.

The top 10 were:

1. New Hampshire

2. Minnesota

3. Vermont

4. Wyoming

5. Virginia

6. Iowa

7. Massachusetts

8. New Jersey

9. South Dakota

10. Nebraska
