Kolcraft Enterprises is voluntarily recalling about 425,000 infant playards following the death of a child.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission received a report of a 10-month-old who died after strangling on the changing table's restraint strap. The strap was hanging down into Kolcraft's "Sesame Beginnings" travel playard where the child was located.

Twelve different Kolcraft playards are included in this recall.

All of the playards have raised changing tables with a restraint strap that forms a loop beneath the changing table, posing a strangulation hazard to the child.

The items were sold at stores nationwide from January 2001 to September 2007.
