POSTED: 10:07 pm EDT May 11, 2007

(Sports Network) - Washington Nationals pitcher Shawn Hill left Friday's 6-0 shutout over the Florida Marlins with a sore right elbow after having thrown five innings of no-hit ball.

After walking two batters and retiring the other 15, Hill was warming up for the top of the sixth inning when he left the game.

The righty was replaced by Winston Abreu to start the inning.

Hill has put up a 3-3 record with a 2.70 ERA this season. He has allowed two earned runs or less in eight of nine starts in 2007.
