If you've tried everything to kick the smoking habit with no success, you may want to give an experimental new vaccine a shot.

Massachusetts General Hospital is one of 10 centers nationwide testing a new vaccine called NicVax.

It's designed to keep nicotine from reaching the brain -- in effect, taking away the pleasure people feel from smoking.

A number of injections are needed.

Preliminary tests show the vaccine is safe and may help people quit.
