Life Married To A Red Sox Star

Let's talk baseball for a moment. Here you guys are, last year was your rookie year, in your second year here and Dustin, your husband, is doing such a phenomenal job. What is it like for you to be Dustin's wife and be here in Boston and to have this kind of exposure?

Well, first of all Dustin hasn't changed at all, and he's always gonna be the same person. We're blue-collar people. He's gonna be simple. He's hilarious. But I think it took us a while to adjust to Boston.

It's media frenzy. They are on you all the time, and when he started out last year, it was not fun. I mean, we've learned a lot, and we've gotten a lot stronger, and we love being in Boston. We don't want to be anywhere else.

But that's so hard I would imagine. You're a young couple, you moved to this town. You guys had only been married -- what -- a year at that point?

No not even. It'll be two years in November, so we were just married when we came up here.

So like newlyweds. And you got that whole adjustment. You're moving to a new city, you have that whole adjustment. The exposure I mean, I can't even imagine.

Well, we look back and laugh that our first year of marriage was an absolute whirlwind. But it's been so much fun. This year's been great. There's great people here, and we're loving it.

When you're out with Dustin, what's that like?

We don't go out too much. We're big time homebodies. If we have time off, if he's got a night off, we're gonna want to be sitting at home, making dinner, rather than being out getting bothered. So we stay home.
