More Booster Seat Tips

POSTED: 4:10 pm EDT July 9, 2008

The following are more booster seat tips from Dr. Lois Lee, a physician in the Emergency Department and director of the Injury Prevention Program at Children's Hospital in Boston:

  • You emphasize to your child that the booster seat is a big kid's seat, It's not a baby seat. It helps them look out the window.
  • You make it clear it's not an option to not ride in the booster seat.
  • You can tell them it's the law and that mommy and daddy have to follow the law.
