Laser Printer Pollution?

Australian Study Raises Questions

We already know about tiny, toxic particles in smog, cigarette smoke and car exhaust, but your laser printer?

Don't throw it out just yet, but a new study points out a possible health threat.

An Australian research team found some laser printers emit ultra-fine particles of toner into the air.

If you breathe that in, it could make you sick.

A lot more research needs to be done, but as a precaution, you may not want to sit near a laser printer.

You can find out more in the journal, Environmental Science and Technology.
