BOSTON -- You've heard the saying: money can't buy happiness. Now researchers are taking a look at happiness itself. The results of a recent large-scale study show that between ages 16 and 45 we become less happy over time. How unhappy? Imagine if your paycheck was suddenly cut in half. But between ages 45 and 60, we get happier, even happier than if someone doubled our income. Economists said that has to do with wisdom gained in those unhappy years.
