Hundreds of parents, teens and children lined the sidewalk outside the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church on Saturday morning, waiting for the doors to open at an H1N1 inoculation clinic.

The flu mist, also known as nasal vaccine, is being administered only to healthy children and teens between ages 2 and 19 with no underlying medical conditions, such as asthma or diabetes.

Doses of the H1N1 flu vaccine recently began to arrive in the community, health officials told The Wellesley Townsman. The flu mist is only effective on healthy patients under 50.

For more information about the clinic, telephone the local health department at 781-235-0135.
