A prince was reunited with its Cinderella after more than 40 years thanks to a leaky pipe and a networking Web site.

Dave Gordon, of Boston, recently found a gold wedding band while he was working on a broken pipe in his 1930s home. The ring was inscribed "Cinderella," local station WCVB reported.

Gordon began a search to find the ring's rightful owner. Gordon knew the Zartarian family built the house, so he turned to the Internet and business networking Web site LinkedIn to try to find any of the family members.

Gordon found one of the Zartarian family's four children, Bob, living in the Atlanta area. Zartarian said the ring belonged to his wife, and was lost more than 40 years ago when the couple was living at the house.

Zartarian said his wedding band was inscribed "Royal Prince" and his wife's lost ring was inscribed "Cinderella."
