Today I have a bunch of action items to take care of in the next week. I am sharing these with you.

1. Store non hardy bulbs like dahlia and tropicals in peat. Let dry, sprinkle with bulb dust and store in the basement.

2. Tie grasses in the yard so they do not flop over.

3. Protect tender new trees with tree guard.

4. Buy Paperwhite bulbs to be planted at Thanksgiving

5. Use WD 40 on tools to prevent rust.

6. Buy Wiltpruf for broadleaf evergreens.

7. Get Rose Cone but do not use yet.

8. Put snowbrush in car.

9. Find bulbs on sale and plant them.
