Five Drama King Types
In DRAMA KINGS: The Men Who Drive Strong Women Crazy, author Dalma Heyn identifies five types of men, all expert at leaving women exhausted and lonely:
- The Visitor: He's detached. He comes and goes, but never makes himself fully at home in a relationship.
- The Proprietor: He's tyrannical. His initial sexy intensity soon turns to possessiveness, paranoia, and control.
- The Easygoing Guy: He's disengaged. Although perfectly pleasant and appealing laidback, in the end, he's just not there.
- The Hit-And-Run Lover: He brings new meaning to "commitment phobic." He gives his all to dramatically woo the object of his affection, pushing and pushing until she says "yes," but has no intention of having the relationship he creates.
- The Feeling-Impaired Guy: He's chilling. He appears smart and responsive and energetic, but also vaguely robotic; his emotions, his tenderness are no where to be found.
