'Designer Mutt' All The Rage In New York

BOSTON -- A controversial new wave of dogs, sometimes referred to as designer mutts, has created quite the craze in New York city.
Meet the puggles. The hybrids are quickly becoming one of the most popular family dogs in the area.
A puggle is a cross between a pug and a beagle.
One kennel owner in Queens said that people are clamoring for the cuties. The dogs are going for as much as $1,000.
Some dog breeders are up in arms over so-called hybrids, saying cross-breeding can be dangerous.
