LOS ANGELES -- Paula Abdul is turning her nose up at allegations she had an affair with an ex-contestant on "American Idol."In a statement released to "Access Hollywood," the publicist for the "American Idol" judge said, "Paula Abdul will not dignify the false statements made by Corey Clark with a response. Mr. Clark is an admitted liar and opportunist who engages in unlawful activities. He is communicating lies about Paula Abdul in order to generate interest in a book deal."Clark has claimed he had an affair with Abdul and that she offered to help his career.An interview with Clark is part of an upcoming expose of "American Idol" on the TV news magazine "Primetime Live."According to "Access Hollywood," ABC said it will "explore explosive claims about behind-the-scenes activities" at the show.
