'Sideways' Actress Files For Divorce

LOS ANGELES -- Sandra Oh isn't moving sideways -- she's moving on.
Oh filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday from her husband, Alexander Payne.Payne, co-wrote and directed "Sideways," which starred Oh, Paul Giamatti, Thomas Haden Church and Virginia Madsen.Payne and Jim Taylor won a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for the film in February. He also co-wrote and directed the films "Election" and "About Schmidt."Oh's film credits include "The Princess Diaries," "Big Fat Liar" and "Under the Tuscan Sun" and she currently stars in television's "Grey's Anatomy."Oh, 34, and Payne, 44, met five years ago and were married in January 2003.They announced their separation last month.Court records show that Oh is asking for spousal support. The couple have no children.
