A new commercial has some wondering if Johnny Damon's beard is the real deal.

The ad for DHL will debut during the Red Sox Yankees game Sunday night.

Damon was fitted with a phony beard for the spot, but he says he's no facial fraud.

In the commercial, Damon is asked if he has any baseball memorabilia to donate and is told that pitcher Curt Schilling has given the bloody sock he wore in game leading up to the World Series.

Damon responds by offering a fake beard glued to his face.
