Jen Says She Wants Fun Mate
Jen Schefft, the new Bachelorette, is looking for a mate who is fun.Jen was engaged to Andrew Firestone for 10 months before the couple called it quits. It was recently announced that she will be the new Bachelorette.
SLIDESHOW: Jen Schefft Schefft appeared on "Live With Regis and Kelly" Thursday and said she also wants someone who is down to earth.Conversation also seems to be key for Jen because she talked about being able to be comfortable enough with a person to talk for several hours.She described being able to look at her watch at 2 a.m. and say, "Oh my gosh, we’re still talking."When ABC first approached Jen, she said she didn't want to do it, but later said she realized it was an opportunity that she could not turn down.Kelly teased Jen about making sure she looks in the prospective mates' mouths for open sores. Jen responded by saying everyone is screened.She also talked about what caused the break up with Andrew. Jen said the break-up was mutual, but indicated that there may not have been enough "us time."The Bachelorette is set to air in January.
