"He is so cute." That was heard several times while watching the season premiere of "The Bachelor."
This time it's Bob Guiney as the bachelor. You may remember him from "The Bachelorette" with Trista Rehn. He was the funny guy.
Last night, it wasn't all jokes and smiles for him as he got rid of 10 of the 25 women vying to win his heart in a search for true love.
Guiney, who is divorced, was surprised when his mother, Nora Guiney, showed up to talk with the girls.
She quickly pointed out that she liked LeAnn, Karin and Kelly Jo. During the rose ceremony, these women secured their roses.
But Kelly Jo managed to do something unique. She managed to pull Bob aside and secured the title of "First Kissed."
Kelly Jo also made her intentions known to Nora.
Another standout among what Bob called "25 beautiful women" was Kristi. She was wearing the bare back red dress.
One of the ladies asked her about spending time alone with Bob and she said playfully, "I got some. Did you get some."
One of the highlights of the show was after the rose ceremony when Heather hysterically cried over being rejected.
While sobbing, Heather said she had never truly been rejected.
"I'm just so, I thought Bob was so cute. I thought he might be the one for me," she said. "I have never truly gotten my heart broken and to get it heart broken on national TV. Why did this have to happen to me?"
Too much to drink or truly heart-broken?
After the rose ceremony, Bob said he felt awful about getting rid of the ladies.
His toast, however, didn't reveal that at all.
While raising his glass with the bachelorettes who were left, he said: "Here's to new beginnings."
Home Trashed?
Meanwhile, a California homeowner said his family's estate was trashed when "The Bachelor" was filmed there.
The owner said when he returned after a month, he found holes in the walls, a rodent infestation and all kinds of trash.
He is suing for $5 million.
