Ruben Studdard won the popular vote for the latest version of "American Idol," but it's runner-up Clay Aiken who's winning the competition of record sales -- at least with one online retailer.

Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken According to the New York Times, Aiken is getting four times as many orders for his upcoming single "This is the Night"/"Bridge Over Troubled Water" as Ruben Studdard has been getting for "Flying Without Wings"/"Superstar."

Aiken's medley has been No. 1 on the Amazon.com sales chart for the past two weeks.

Both singles will be released June 10.

Over 24 million votes were logged for the "American Idol" finale last month. Studdard had approximately 130,000 votes more than Aiken, which earned him the grand prize of a $1 million RCA recording contract.
