BOSTON -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, are the proud parents of a brand new bouncing baby boy.

Brady announced that his son was born Tuesday night, but he did not reveal the boy's name.

"Everyone is great. Everyone is great. I didn't get much sleep, but I think that's most of us around here this time of year. So everyone is doing really well," Brady said.

It was unclear whether she had the baby in Boston or elsewhere. The Brazilian model was spotted in Chestnut Hill neighborhood during the weekend shopping for baby clothes, the Boston Herald said. She reportedly told a clerk she wasn't due for another two weeks.

When asked what the couple named the baby, Brady said, "You know, I don’t have any picks, so we haven’t really chosen one yet."

Brady, 32, and Bundchen, 29, married in Los Angeles last February and had a more lavish celebration at Bundchen's Costa Rican estate in April.

Brady has another son, Jack, 2, with his former girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.

On Wednesday, Brady showed up 16 minutes late for his weekly media availability. Asked what was new, he said, "a normal week," and smiled.

"I owe it to the guys in the locker room to really focus on what I need to do for this team," he said, "and put all these emotions aside and kind of come in here with a great sense of determination on what we have to do as a team. So, as a captain and a leader of this team, the last thing they need from me is to be really not focused on the job at hand. There's plenty of things for me to really be doing here this week."
