BOSTON -- On Monday night's "Dancing with the Stars," the celebrities and their professional partners have danced their final dance, and now must wait until Tuesday night to find out who will win.NewsCenter 5s Liz Brunner caught up with New Englanders host Tom Bergeron and dancer Tony Dovolani for answers. Both Bergeron and Dovolani told Brunner they love being on the show. Bergeron calls it "lighting in a bottle." He's hosted the show for all 10 seasons.Dovolani says it's been a whirlwind. He's been there for nine seasons.
Dancing' Host, Star Speculate About Winner"I always knew ballroom dancing was going to come back, but it just needed to be reformed," Dovolani said. Many know Bergeron from his days on Boston television, and Dovolani lives in Connecticut.Who do they think will win the famed mirror ball trophy? Brunner took look at the finalists and got their opinion.Mya and Dimitri"Despite what Len might think, Mya has always been consistently amazing as a dancer. If she hadn't come out of her shell a bit I would have told you that she was probably in danger," Bergeron said."Mya might win because she's got everything. She has the performance, she has the skill, she has the musicality. She's probably one of the best dancers we've ever had on our show," Dovolani said.Donny and Kim"Donny might win because of the fact that he's 51 and he's keeping up with everybody. He's done such an incredible job. I think he's the most under rated by the judges, b/c the entire season they were hard on him," Dovolani said."He's a great showman. He's impressed me with his commitment he's put into this," Bergeron said.Kelly and Louis"Here's another example of the perfect teacher for a star. We've watched her grow past some almost paralyzing insecurities at the beginning of the season," Bergeron said."Talk about the bad girl turning good. Kelly Osborne, what an amazing person. Talk about a transformation. The entire show stands around transformation. If she wins, it puts the exclamation point on what our show is about," Dovolani said. You can watch "Dancing with the Stars" results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Channel 5.
