A $400 billion lawsuit was filed against rocker Jon Bon Jovi by a Chelsea musician who says the singer used the lyrics from one of his songs for last year's Major League Baseball anthem, according to the Boston Herald.

Samuel Bartley Steele, 37, lyrics from his "(Man I Really) Love This Team" were used in Bon Jovi's "I Love This Town," the newspaper reported.

Steele said he wrote his song in 2004, after the Red Sox won their first World Series title in 86 years.

Steele, lead vocalist and guitarist for the band The Chelsea City Council, said Bon Jovi may have heard his song when he was in Boston campaigning for Sen. John Kerry, who was a presidential candidate at the time.
