First, he was Captain Kirk, then T.J. Hooker and Denny Crane: And soon, William Shatner will be known as celebrity interviewer.
Any celebrity who sits down with Shatner on his upcoming Bio Channel talk show can expect to be grilled about some sensitive issue -- which is why the show is called "Shatner's Raw Nerve."
The show is scheduled to start in mid-August.
Throughout the season, guests will include Shatner's former "Star Trek" television and film co-star Leonard Nimoy, as well as actors Jon Voight, Kelsey Grammer and Valerie Bertinelli.
Other guests include porn star Jenna Jameson, television personality Judge Judy and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
Shatner, 77, currently stars as Crane on the television drama "Boston Legal."
