A third co-defendant pleaded guilty to two charges in connection to an alleged armed robbery case involving O.J. Simpson.

Michael McClinton accepted a plea deal from the prosecution Monday, pleading guilty to robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Police said McClinton is the man who pulled the gun during the robbery as Simpson tried to retrieve his memorabilia.

Since his release from the Clark County Detention Center, McClinton has been on house arrest. When Metro searched his home during the investigation, police allegedly found two handguns, a concealed weapons permit, and a suit that matched one worn by one of the suspects during the robbery.

According to the terms of his plea deal, McClinton will remain on house arrest until he testifies in the Nov. 13 preliminary hearing, where he will speak against Simpson. He must also forfeit his concealed weapons permit. The charges McClinton accepted carry a five- and six-year sentence, respectively.

As part of his agreement, McClinton's attorney asked that the sentences be served concurrently. There will be no decision made in McClinton's sentencing until after the Nov. 13 preliminary hearing.Earlier this month Charles Cashmore, who is another of the Simpson co-defendants, took a plea deal and will testify for the prosecution.

His attorney said his testimony will prove there were guns in the room.A third co-defendant, Walter Alexander, has also made a plea deal and will give similar testimony. In police statements, Alexander said Simpson wanted guns in the room to "look tough."

Simpson's attorney said some of the defendants' stories cannot be believed because they are striking deals with the prosecution. Simpson and two other co-defendants -- Clarence Stewart and Charles Ehrlich -- are expected in court next month to answer to robbery and kidnapping charges in November.
